Battle of the Bands 1 Minute

My most recent Battle featured three performers, Van Morrison, Ray Charles, and Tony Bennett, covering the song "Bein’ Green," first done by Kermit The Frog.

When setting up this battle, I debated whether or not to include Van Morrison in it, because I was concerned that he’d run away with it. In the end, I included him, because I knew if I didn’t, people would complain "HEY! WHY DIDN’T YOU INCLUDE VAN MORRISON?" and he’d probably get a couple of write-in votes. So, I included him and, yes, he ran away with it.

Tony Bennett – 0 sorry, Tony

Congratulations to Van Morrison, a pat on the back for Ray Charles, and a shoulder to cry on for Tony Bennett, who didn’t get any votes. And thank you, Cathy, for making sure this battle didn’t end in a shutout.
