Classical and film music composer Mikis Theodorakis was born on this day in 1925. He wrote the music for such films as Serpico, Z, amd perhaps most famously Zorba The Greek. "Sirtaki" is also called "Zorba’s Dance" and is the most familiar song he wrote.
