  2. Yes, they are all playing, John. I hate when that happens to me when I post music videos. Ella Fitzgerald’s performance was outstanding, as always, and I can forgive the somewhat dated lyrics (pitching woo?) Julie Christy’s voice was so soothing, and you chose, as your last song, one of my all time favorites. Alana ramblinwitham

    1. Cole Porter wrote some classic songs, even if the language is a little dated. And no one sang the standards like Ella.

      Chad and Jeremy did some of my favorites too, and that’s a particular fave of mine. Glad you enjoyed it.

  3. I gad to go to YouTube after the 2nd song but I enjoyed every bit. Funny how different 2 songs are with the same name…Heat Wave. Today it’s much, much better outside

    1. I was looking for Ann-Margret’s version of “Heat Wave,” which she apparently did when she was in the Waa-Mu show at Northwestern and caused quite a scandal…

    1. I’ve changed out the video that won’t play on any site other than YouTube so now it’ll play anywhere. Honestly, I’m ready to use Spotify for my playlists…

    I have your playlist going. Noticed track 2 won’t play but I’m familiar with June Christy “Something Cool”. I featured this song last month. I see you matched me with song picks, ‘The Heat Is On” and “Some Like It Hot”. 👍 You did a fabulous job with your set. I love how you put together a full list of music for me to enjoy while I do other things. Have a boogietastic week, my friend!

    1. One more thing I need to check for now is the person who insists that you play their video on the YouTube website. I have a version that will play anywhere now and have checked all the others to ensure that they’ll play. Sorry about that…
