This song released the year DH was born. Dinah Washington had a beautiful sound. I know the name only because of bloggers like you who introduced her to me. Actually, I think it was here where I first sampled her voice. :)

She is great and I wish she was lnown as well as Aretha, Etta James, Billie Holiday etc… she’s so good.

She was 39 when she died (OD’d on barbiturates). Had she lived longer, she might have been better known…
