Every time the subject of money comes up, I have to play this song…
Fandango was talking about the guy who won $2 billion in the Powerball, and asked the question everyone does after someone wins that much money…
You just won a giant lottery jackpot. What are the first three things you’re going to do with the money you won?
I suppose this is after Uncle Sam grabs his share of it. I’d still have a considerable amount left, of course. So, after that…
- I’d totally redo the inside of my house. I like my house and my neighborhood, but it’s not terribly handicapped-friendly, and the bathrooms and kitchen need redoing anyway. (Don’t they always?)
- Donate a hefty chunk of it to a few charities, including my parish, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and the Lingap Center.
- Invest most of the rest of it in something safe.
After that, who knows? Only I do…

See you next week with a brand new show!
Keep our house but add another wing and travel…plus John…I would buy around 3 Rickenbacker’s that I always wanted….plus my dream car a 1972 Opel GT

Our needs are really simple and we aren’t the type to go on vacations or anything. We might need a new car (ours is 20 years old now), and who knows, we might need a new roof or something. And you know how it goes, after 65 things start hurting or not working…

Got you. I’m 61( almost) so I’m trying to keep myself in workout condition.
