Share Your World For Dec. 5, 2022

Welcome to another addition of Share Your World! Di asks the questions and I try to make you laugh…

Do you have a favourite outfit you like to wear? I wear pretty much the same thing every day: a polo shirt, lightweight pants (Reebok calls them "Core Tech Pants, Athletic Fit"), and New Balance walking shoes. Socks, underwear, and my compression garment go without saying.

What is the worst thing you were forced to wear as a child (school uniforms aside)? Nothing quite as bad as this…

Quoting from here: We were children of the Sixties, and as such dressed up whenever Mom told us to get dressed up. This usually entailed scraping together whatever good clothes we had and trying not to look like we got dressed in the dark. Read the rest of it, if you’re curious. In short, I wasn’t especially fond of occasions where I had to "dress up."

Do you have a sweet tooth, and if so, are you a chewer, cruncher, or sucker? Yes, and yes.

Among my favorites…

Do you think you could eat your weight in chocolate? Not without exploding like Mr. Creosote. (This is the least-gross GIF I could find.)

  1. I have to say I love qhenni can put my blue robe on and become comfortable. My mom bought me a skirt with an anchor on it. From the time I could remember, as soon as an outfit looks like it came from the boat, I hated it. It makes no sense but I refuse to wear it. Funny, when I went to a soothsayer, I asked about my former life and she said that I was a man who was quite mean and worked with the boats and would not allow certain people on the boats during the war. Weird.
I have a big sweet tooth and could swim in chocolate. I may even explode like Mr. Creosote

  2. Great answers, John! I used to dress up when I worked and back in the day when my mom used to buy my clothes. Now, it sweats and jeans for me.
