This month, I’ll be participating in Bee Halton’s "Love Is In Da Blog" challenge, which will be part of my Song Of The Day regular feature on Mondays thru Saturdays, and will be a separate post on Sundays.

Today’s prompt is "Choose your own," so I’ll choose "Sweet Love" by the incredible Anita Baker, from her platinum-selling second album, 1986’s Rapture. It’s an excellent example of the "quiet storm" subgenre of R&B, "performed in a smooth, romantic, jazz-influenced style," according to The Blogger’s Best Friend ™.
