Song of the Day: The Floaters, “Float On” #LoIsInDaBl23

For Day 2, Bee wants "A Hip-hop or Rap Love Song from your teenage years (if the genre didn’t exist in your teens, choose your own)." Well, rap and hip-hop weren’t invented when I was in high school. Instead, we had soul music…

"Float On" by The Floaters came out in 1977, a little after my teen years (I turned 21 that year), but I think it’ll do for this. It reached #2 on the Hot 100 and #1 on the R&B chart that year.
