Mel, at Caramel – Learner At Love, chose today’s prompt, "a love song about forgiveness". I don’t know if this is what she was looking for, but there was something about this song that told me it was. "Forgiveness" is a song by country singer David Nail, from his 2019 EP Oh, Mother

Good song even though it’s country:)) Funny, you put this out just when the news broke that John Tory, a very good mayor of Toronto stepped down because he had a mutual affair with a co- worker. He I’d married for 40+ years. He said he was wrong, apologized to his wife, family and the people who voted for him. He is an excellent mayor! He took responsibility for his actions and was very apologetic. Meanwhile we had Fat F@%=Ford who probably has prostitute parties going on and he still is in power. You know, I am not condoning Tory’s actions but I look at that part as separate from his abilities as a mayor. FDR, Ike, JFK, yadda, yadda had more than one affair and were more than capable to run the U.S Nation. I hope Tory can work things out with his wife and his family. I went off on a curve ball.
