
Bee’s prompt for today is "A Love Song from Africa." No idea about any of them, so I Ducked "love song from Africa" and found this video about "The 10 Best African Love Songs Of All Time." I said, "Hmm, this looks promising," watched the whole thing, and liked all of them, this one in particular. Wikipedia tells us "Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, better known by her stage name Simi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress." "Love Don’t Care" is from her 2015 album Simisola and was released as a single in 2016.

The tune is catchy and upbeat, which gets my toes tapping. 😉

I think most African countries have we just never hear about it. Ghana has some great musicians too. 🤗

We have a lot of West African people in the area (Nigeria and Ghana, specifically), so you’d think their music would be more popular around these parts. Maybe I should check some of the pop stations and see if they’ve made it here…
