Their collective cheesy grins at the beginning are delightful. The flashing-on-beat background lights—haha This is a new-to-me rendition. Thanks!

They were excellent musicians but even better showmen!

There was some version of this that started real slow and went faster and faster and faster. Loved it. But only a FIDDLE sounds like a train. Gees. Ha.

I like how the guy threw the theme from “The Flintstones” in there….

What no fiddle?? I don’t think so. Not sure who made that famous with a fiddle, but it is so cool with a fiddle
It was huge with all my country horse people and later in the country western bars. Pretty sure I have that right.

Ever heard Charlie McCoy do it on harmonica?

NO! But now that I think of it, the harmonica can do a great train! I’ll watch it.

Charlie’s a tremendous harmonica player, and a pretty good singer.

Love this piece so much but have not heard this version. I have to look it up. I think I gave the original 45 version. I have to look. My mom loved this because my brother, who was born in 1961, would dance to this when he was a babe. She had fond memories of this and Wheels ( I think that’s what it’s called).

I suppose so. They are big in Germany and Japan, evidently.

I like their style, with the space suits. Kind of like Los Straitjackets with the wrestling masks…
