Happy 57th birthday to British singer-songwriter and actress Lisa Stansfield. "You Can’t Deny It" was released in May 1990 as the second North American single from her 1989 debut album Affection, and reached #14 on the Hot 100, the Canadian Singles and Canadian Adult Contemporary charts, #2 on the US and Canadian Dance charts, and #1 on the Hot Black Singles chart in the US.

  3. I know the voice and it sounds like another famous song but can’t recall the name. She’s not my cup of tea but she has a good voice.
