Bluesman Theodore Roosevelt "Hound Dog" Taylor was born on this day in 1915. Among other things, he had six fingers on each hand, though they weren’t usable, and he cut the one on his right hand off with a straight razor. He worked with Koko Taylor and Little Walter on The American Folk Blues Festival in 1967. Little Walter plays with him on this song, "Wild Abou You, Baby."
Yeah!

He was pretty wild in his later years. Bruce Iglauer built Alligator Records around him and Koko Taylor. Glad you liked it!
