Song of the Day: Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, “Pressure Cooker”

Blues singer and multi-instrumentalist Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown was born on this day in 1924. He primarily played guitar, but also played the fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, piano, and viola. He lived in Nashville for a time and was a friend of Roy Clark, appearing on Hee Haw a few times and cutting a few country records. This recording of "Pressure Cooker" was made in New Orleans in 1984.
