Desperate situations demand desperate action, and because I couldn’t come up with a word that starts with Q and contains J, I used a full name, in this case Quincy Jones.

Quincy Jones is a record producer, arranger, songwriter, composer, and film and television producer. He’s had quite an accomplshed life, which you can read about on Wikipedia.
Of all the things that he’s done, this might be my favorite.
I know this is a lot shorter than it could be, because you could go on and on about all that Quincy Jones has done. Maybe I’ll feature him on a future Five For Friday. I’m still dealing with back pain, so I’ll have to cut this short. See you tomorrow with R! Tomorrow’s post on the A to Z Challenge blog is by me, too!
Thank goodness for desperate times!

I actually like shorter posts, John. This one–the music speaks volumes!

I adore this video. What fun, kind of Austin Powers-ish.

I thought this looked familiar and then noted it comes from Sweet Charity . I’ve got that on DVD. And I recognized the Bob Fosse choreography. Love this clip.

I thought of “Sanford and Son” when I saw his name today. I could not have guessed what you’d do for today.

That the dancers are using cigarettes as props says much about the era of the video.
