Soul singer Johnny Corley, whose stage name is The Fantastic Johnny C, turns 80 years old today. He had four songs reach the Hot 100, including his Top Ten hit "Boogaloo Down Broadway." He released a couple more singles, on the Phil-LA of Soul and Kama Sutra labels, before leaving the music business in the early 1970’s.
