Happy 84th birthday to rockabilly singer Clint Miller. He was still in high school when he was recording; when he graduated, he got his bachelor’s degree from American University and his law degree from Washington & Lee University. He served as the Commonwealth’s Attorney for Shenandoah County from 1967 to 1971 and was elected to the Viginia House of Delegates for the first time in 1972. He served there through 1996, then went into law practice until retiring in 2006. "Bertha Lou" was his only single that charted, reaching #79 in 1958.
That’s pretty cool that this man in law and government has a hit record. I enjoyed it too.

You hear more about the people who are lawyers who get into music than people who go the opposite way…

Well, I never heard of this guy, but the song is good for its time. It sounds more like a Buddy Holly song or Chuck Berry though don’t you think? hahaha Cute or ! I’ll tell you what I did like though I saw an advertisement on twitter right under yours it was for a hair straightener brush, and I would love to have one of those not only for myself, but for all lmy granddaughters, and daughter (youngest has long hair). I’ve been looking for a good one for a very long time, but $33.00 not quite sure on that price. Although it would get tons of use around here cuz everyone wants hair like NaNee (that’s me) hahaha! Thanks to you I think I’m gonna save up & get one! THANKS JOHN! BEEN LOOKING FOR A NICE ONE FOR A LONG TIME! I’m sure all my girls will get in line to give ya a great big hug!
